Perfectly Imperfect

Here at Nurturing our Community we champion “perfectly imperfect” vegetables shaped as nature intended, lovingly grown in one of our community locations, using only chemical free methods.

Now that winter is rapidly sweeping in, our volunteers have been busily sowing seeds to ensure we have a continuous supply of new hardy, healthy seedlings ready to plant out each week, at one of our locations inside our protective poly tunnels. We continue to grow: Lettuce, spinach, rocket, radishes, kale, onions, cauliflower and radicchio ready to supply our customers’ veg boxes.

Our delicious fresh locally grown vegetables come in all shapes and sizes; and we love them for it.

What fruit and vegetables can we expect to see in our boxes over the coming months?

Buying our locally grown fruit and vegetables means you can expect to see seasonal products in your NOC box.
